๐ผ HEX MultiJob
Give your players the freedom to manage multiple careers on one character with HEX MultiJob.
HEX MultiJob is a modern ESX employment system that automatically saves jobs assigned to a player and allows them to switch between their saved positions at any time through a clean and responsive in-game interface.
Instead of forcing players to lose their previous job whenever they start a new career, HEX MultiJob keeps their jobs and grades stored persistently in the database.
Perfect for serious RP servers, economy servers, whitelisted jobs, civilian careers, emergency services, and communities where players need access to multiple professions.
๐ฎ Complete MultiJob System
Players can maintain multiple jobs on the same character without needing staff to repeatedly reassign them.
Whenever a supported ESX job is assigned, HEX MultiJob can automatically save it to the player's personal job list.
Players can then:
โข View all saved jobs
โข See their current active position
โข View job grades
โข View grade labels
โข Switch between saved jobs
โข Remove jobs they no longer want
โข Access everything through one simple menu
Job information remains stored persistently between sessions.
๐ฅ Modern MultiJob UI
HEX MultiJob includes a custom NUI employment interface designed to make job management fast and easy.
The interface displays:
โ Current active job
โ Current grade
โ Grade label
โ Internal job name
โ All saved positions
โ Active position indicator
โ Current job limit
โ Switch controls
โ Job removal controls
The UI uses a compact design that stays focused on the important information without covering the entire screen with an unnecessary dark overlay.
โก Quick F9 Access
Players can open their MultiJob menu instantly using F9 by default.
Controls:
F9 โ Open / Close MultiJob
ESC โ Close menu
X โ Close menu
The resource uses FiveM's native key mapping system, meaning players can also change the MultiJob key through their own FiveM keybind settings.
Server owners can configure both the command and default key.
๐ Instant Job Switching
Switching careers is simple.
Players open the MultiJob interface, select one of their saved positions, and press SWITCH.
HEX MultiJob then validates the requested position before updating the player's active ESX job and grade.
This makes moving between different RP roles quick while maintaining the player's correct job progression.
Perfect for players who may work as:
๐ฎ Police
๐ EMS
๐ง Mechanic
๐ Taxi Driver
๐ข Business Employee
๐ Restaurant Worker
โ Government Employee
or any other ESX job configured on your server.
๐พ Automatic Job Saving
HEX MultiJob can automatically detect and save a player's current ESX job.
Jobs can be stored when:
โข The player loads into the server
โข The player's ESX job changes
โข Another compatible script assigns a new job
The correct job and grade are stored in the database.
If the same job is assigned again with a different grade, the saved position can be updated instead of creating duplicate entries.
๐ Persistent Job Grades
HEX MultiJob doesn't only remember the job itself.
The system also stores the player's job grade, allowing players to return to their saved position at the appropriate rank.
For example, if a player has saved positions in multiple departments, their respective grades remain associated with those positions.
The interface can display both:
โ Grade number
โ ESX grade label
This creates a much cleaner experience for servers with structured job progression.
๐ Job Removal
Players can remove positions they no longer want directly from the MultiJob menu.
Each saved job includes its own removal option.
If players are allowed to remove their currently active position, HEX MultiJob can automatically switch them to a configurable fallback job before deleting the saved position.
Example:
Current Job: Police
Remove Police: Player becomes Unemployed
Police: Removed from saved jobs
Server owners can also disable removal of the currently active job if they prefer stricter employment management.
๐ Configurable Job Limits
Control exactly how many careers each character can store.
HEX MultiJob includes a configurable maximum job limit.
For example:
Maximum Jobs: 3
Once the player reaches the configured limit, additional new positions cannot be added until an existing position is removed.
You can easily change this value to match your server's economy and RP rules.
๐ซ Ignored Jobs
Not every ESX job needs to occupy a MultiJob slot.
HEX MultiJob includes configurable ignored jobs, allowing server owners to control which jobs should or should not automatically enter the player's saved job list.
This is useful for jobs such as:
โข Unemployed
โข Temporary jobs
โข Event jobs
โข Special internal jobs
โข Other positions you don't want permanently stored
๐ก Server-Side Security
Job switching is validated server-side rather than trusting information sent by the NUI.
When a player requests a job switch, HEX MultiJob verifies:
โ Player identifier
โ The requested job is actually saved
โ The ESX job still exists
โ The saved grade still exists
โ The player is allowed to perform the action
The interface cannot simply send an arbitrary job name or grade and assign it to the player.
This helps protect the system against common client-side abuse.
โฑ Anti-Spam Protection
HEX MultiJob includes a configurable server-side cooldown for important job management actions.
This prevents players from rapidly spamming job switches or removal requests.
The cooldown can be adjusted directly through the configuration.
๐ Developer Integration
Running a custom employment or job-management resource?
HEX MultiJob includes additional integration options for scripts that assign ESX jobs in unusual ways.
Developers can manually tell the system to save the player's current job after assigning it.
A server export is also available for directly adding a specific job and grade to a player's MultiJob list.
This makes HEX MultiJob easier to integrate with custom:
โข Job centers
โข Whitelist systems
โข Business scripts
โข Gang/job management resources
โข Admin tools
โข Custom employment systems
๐ Persistent Database Storage
All saved jobs are stored through oxmysql in a dedicated MultiJob database table.
Stored information includes:
โข Character/player identifier
โข Job name
โข Job grade
โข Creation timestamp
Each player/job combination is unique, helping prevent duplicate saved positions.
HEX MultiJob does not need to delete or replace data from ESX's main users table to maintain the saved job list.
๐ง Easy Configuration
HEX MultiJob keeps the important options inside a straightforward configuration file.
Server owners can customize:
โข Maximum saved jobs
โข MultiJob command
โข Default keybind
โข Ignored jobs
โข Automatic job saving
โข Active job removal
โข Fallback job
โข Fallback grade
โข Server action cooldown
โข Debug mode
This makes the resource easy to adapt to both strict RP servers and more flexible economy servers.
๐ฆ Dependencies
HEX MultiJob is built specifically for ESX.
Required resources:
โข ESX Legacy / es_extended
โข oxmysql
โข MySQL / MariaDB
No additional menu dependency is required because the resource includes its own custom NUI.
โก Performance
HEX MultiJob is designed around event-driven job management rather than unnecessary constant processing.
Performance characteristics:
โ Lightweight client logic
โ Event-based automatic job saving
โ Efficient database queries
โ Server-side validation
โ Minimal idle processing
โ Configurable anti-spam cooldown
โ Custom lightweight NUI
โ No unnecessary fullscreen UI loop
When the menu is closed, client processing remains minimal.
๐ฅ Perfect For
HEX MultiJob is ideal for servers where players shouldn't be restricted to a single career.
Perfect for:
๐ Serious RP servers
๐ฎ Emergency service RP
๐ข Player-owned businesses
๐ฐ Economy servers
๐ง Civilian employment
๐ฅ Large communities
๐ญ Multi-role characters
๐ผ Whitelisted professions
Allow players to build a real employment history while giving them a fast and convenient way to move between their different careers.
